Where do the people of north Malabar now depend for cancer treatment? As per recent survey, 46.7% of respondents choose to have treatment at Thalassseri, 16.4% in Mangalore, 15.6% in Trivandrum, 14.8% in Kozhikode and less than 5% of them in Kannur and Kasaragod. Our market survey also shows that over 90% of public welcome the proposal.
Significance of the projectToday there is no comprehensive cancer care facility with all services provided under one roof in the vicinity of Kanhangad or across the whole district of Kasaragod. The planned privately funded cancer care hospital would offer a complete cancer care facility.
Project Details100 Bed Private Cancer Care Hospital
Project Location : Kanhangad, Kasaragod
Built up area(sq.ft.) : 108900
Land available : 30 acres
Power requirement : 800KW, Solar Car Ports, EV Charging Stations

Apart from the government hospital at Kasaragod with 230 beds, the district has one hospital in Kanhangad, five Taluk hospitals and five community health centers that provide in-patient facilities.
The super-speciality services available in the district are sub-standard. Trauma care, oncology, neurology, cardiology and other super-specialities are just up-and-coming in the district.
Considering the district-wise distribution of the disease, breast and lung cancer are the leading cancer sites in Kannur and Kasaragod.
